Atanu pursued his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Vinayaka Mission University in Salem, Tamil Nadu.

At the young age of 14, Atanu developed a keen interest in archery. To hone his skills and perfect his talents in this sport, he enrolled in an archery institute located in Kolkata.


Atanu Das embarked on his international archery journey in 2008, making his debut at the World Youth Championships.
