Delhi University Online Admission 2021
Delhi University Admission 2021 The much-awaited admission of Delhi University (UB) will continue digitally this year as well. The epidemic began distributing and receiving forms digitally last year due to pandemics. This year too, in order to avoid long queues on campus, the university will conduct the admission process digitally. Registration for postgraduate and Ph.D. Courses are expected to start in 10 days and registration for the undergraduate course will begin by the end of July, said the chairperson of the UB of Admissions.
He further said that this year also varsity merit-based admission will continue. The university had earlier considered the Central Universities Conventional Entrance Test to allow entry as a number of entrances, but no final decision has been made yet. In this situation, merit-based admission will continue. The varsity is expecting a record number of registrations this year as well. Considering global travel bans and COVID restrictions, foreign admissions will be lower and thus, more students are expected to apply for Indian varsities.
Following the same situation last year, the number of UB registrations has increased by about one lakh. In 2020, a total of 3,53,717 students applied for undergraduate courses at Delhi University. In 2019, the number was more than 2.58 lakh candidates and due to limited seats, the maximum cut-off for the party went to 100 percent.
