ITI Admissions Will Start From 15th July
Admission to various courses of Industrial Training Institute ITI will start from 15th July. Admission will be on the basis of the merit list instead of the entrance test this year. This decision has been taken by the authorities keeping in view the Covid-19 situation.
A merit list will be prepared according to the class 10th number of the applicants. Students wishing to start a career through ITI can register themselves on the online portal. Once the screening and selection process is complete, classes are expected to begin via online mode. It may be noted that there are 19 ITI branches in Delhi that are run under the Technical Education and Training Department of the Government of Delhi. All these institutes train the students in various trades related to the industry.
Those who take the course get more job opportunities than those who do not. In the pre-epidemic world, the selection process was based on an entrance test based on the covid-19 protocol. There are 10,000 seats in 19 branches in Delhi. Every year, shortages apply for ITI courses. However, the situation is expected to be different this year due to the pandemic.
