The decision to conduct the final semester examination of BTech at the college level of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) was approved by the varsity syndicate and the board of governors.
Colleges have been instructed to conduct theoretical examinations from June 26 to July 12 on their probable dates. Colleges must notify the exam schedule at least seven days prior to conducting the exam. An order issued by the university said that the numbers given to students on the basis of examinations, including work on BTech projects, should be uploaded in colleges before July 19. Honors examinations of the 7th and 8th semesters will also be taken online.
Exam number 70 will be taken and the duration will be two and a half hours. The marks obtained in the college level examination in each subject will be normalized in proportion to the combined grade point average (CGPA) of the students in the previous semester. If the grades obtained in the online exam are not satisfactory, the students will be allowed to cancel the grades obtained in this way and write in the next offline exam on the same subject. The offline test will be considered as the first opportunity for the students. Students who are unable to take the test due to Covid-1 related health will be allowed to take the test on or before 31st July. Only those students who submit relevant documents and details to the university on or before 15th July will be allowed to take this opportunity to the concerned eligible institutions.
Colleges have been directed to complete and submit the marks of the BTech project before 19th July. MBA final semester online exam dates will be announced later.
