Madam Chief Minister Movie Online Watch For Free
Madam Chief Minister is a fictional account of the ups and downs in the life of a powerful Dalit leader who became the first woman Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous and politically charged state. In a cool opening scene, writer-director Subhash Kapoor shows us how a Dalit groom’s procession ends in a bloody shootout, as it inconveniences the Tagore family.
The rumor came that his wife Roop Ram was killed a few minutes before the delivery of his other daughter. This is the 1982 Uttar Pradesh, where gender and caste discrimination is widespread and child-killing is a common practice. Cut in 2005 and the girl child Tara (Richa Chada) has grown up to be a fiery and hot-headed young woman, whose whirlwind with the upcoming politician, spends almost her life.
Just then, Masterji (Saurabh Shukla), a respected Dalit leader of the Trinamool Congress, took him under his wing and thus began his journey into the awkward world of politics and power. Kapoor gives our protagonist a busy screenplay with countless events and challenges in his life and it flows the narrative with incredible plot twists. Of course, some conflicts are resolved very comfortably and some twists seem obviously unrealistic, but Tara’s character is so interesting with the former Chief Minister of UP, we know nothing is impossible in politics. Of course, the creators force them to look like the protagonist of their story – the strong are still painful and the painful are still traitors.
However, in Kapoor’s writing, they spent very little time on his evolution. It imprints some suffixes in the narratives that desperately try to test all the boxes of a fickle political potboiler. That said, the film is a general and nondescript entertainment, unwavering commitment to work. Despite packing on many ground-level issues such as racism, law and order, and vote-bank politics, its over-archival theme remains loyal to the stars ’personal journey.
This makes it even more appealing, and the Richa Chadha brand’s late back performance, we like her well-formed wig, notwithstanding. Her best scenes are with Saurabh Shukla, who runs the show through realistic imagery of her terrifying resistance and star idealistic mentor. Manav Kaul as Danish Khan and Akshay Oberoi as Indu have done well in their respective roles. Madame Chief Minister has got our vote to be an entertaining political drama set in the criminal corridors of power.
