Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new Redmi phone which is supposed to be the Redmi Note 10T. The company has also set up a dedicated micro-site on Amazon (confirming its availability), although the web page does not provide any concrete details. In fact, the website doesn’t even highlight the smartphone moniker; However, the link to the separate image of its promotional poster highlights the Redmi Note 10T. Significantly, a promotional video clip on the site highlights the ‘T’, giving more weight to the guess. The Redmi Note 10 debuted in Russia last month, a March Redmi Note 10T 5G launched worldwide in March.



 

The Xiaomi-related Poko has launched the Redmi Note 10T 5G in India as the Poko M3 Pro 5G. It turns out that Xiaomi also wants to put a 5G phone under its popular Note series, so it is bringing the Redmi Note 10T. To recall, the Redmi Note 10 found in Russia has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD + resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout in the top-center of a single selfie camera. Underneath the hood, it packs the MediaTek Dimension 700 SC which is designed to bring 5G connectivity to budget smartphones. The smartphone has a triple rear camera system with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Other notable features on the Redmi Note 10 include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.



 

It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is available in Russian 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB configurations and its price starts from RUB 19,990, which is around Rs 20,300. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi will change the phone before it hits the Indian market. Prior to that, the company had not yet shared official details on the smartphone’s Moniker. The Chinese tech company is also planning to launch the Redmi 10 series in India.
