TikTok’s AI is for Sale in India and Others Companies 2021
TikTok‘s AI is for sale in the open market. TikTok‘s parent company, Bit Dance, has secretly launched a new division called Byte Plus, which sells TikTok technology with the algorithm proposed by the Financial Times as the first available. Customers can also buy Computer Vision Tech, real-time effects and automatic translations, among other features. Boot Plus is a Singapore-based company based in Hong Kong and London. The company also wants to register trademarks in the United States.
According to the BytePlus website, the company already has a list of clients, including US fashion app Goat, Singapore travel site Wego, Indonesian shopping app Chilibeli and Indian social gaming platform Games app. A big part of why BigPlus is a big deal for BytPlus developers is TikTok’s recommended algorithm. According to the FT report, BytePlus provides its customers the ability to access recommendation algorithms and personalize them for their applications and customers. BytePlus’s website provides automated speech and text translation and real-time video effects, as well as data analysis tools.
TikTok the short-video platform was a great success in India before it was banned in June last year over national security issues. TikTok was among the 59 apps that were banned by the government just a year ago. Most of these apps were of Chinese descent. It also came at a time when there was tension between India and China in the wake of the Galwan Valley clash.
