The UP Board had earlier canceled the test due to the second wave of COVID-19. Earlier, it was speculated that the results would be released on July 15, but the board denied this and said that the results would be released this week. The board has not yet announced the exact date of the results. The apex court had earlier directed all state boards to declare Class XII results by July 31.

For 10th class students, their marks will be calculated on the basis of the 50:50 formula, 50 percent of the results of the 9th class examination, and 50 percent weight will be given in the 10th class pre-board examination.
For Class XII students, Class X results will be given 50 percent weight, Class XII pre-boards will be given 10 percent final marks, and Class XI will be given 40 percent final marks. An 11-member committee was formed to prepare the evaluation process. Students must have a minimum of 33 percent in each subject and pass the total exam. Candidates who are not satisfied with the results of the board can opt for the written test to be held on the next date. Last year, 74.64 percent of students of class XII passed the board examination and 10.83.31 percent of students of class X took part in the examination.
