In April this year, Xiaomi announced its Mi 11 Ultra smartphone – the company’s flagship offer for 2021, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which was recently sold in India at a very limited rollout. Now, Xiaomi has started launching the MIUI 12.5 update for MI11 Ultra in India. The latest software update comes as a minor upgrade for MIUI 12 running devices. According to reports, the Mi11 Ultra is one of the first smartphones to receive the MIUI 12.5 software update.

But now that the smartphone has started selling in India, Indian users are now getting MIUI 12.5. The MIUI 12.5 update for the Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra brings build number V12.5.2.0.RKAINXM. This software build is defined as a ‘stable beta’ which simply means being rolled out in over-the-air (OTA) update batches. Therefore, it may take some time to reach every user in the country. Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra users in India can check the update by going to Settings> System> System Update. Alternatively, users can download the link separately via the link.

According to Changelog, the MIUI 12.5 update brings improvements to the system, changes to Notes, Xiaomi Cloud and status bars, and notification shadows. The Mi11 Ultra is comparatively cheaper in India than in other parts of the world. The only 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone is priced at Rs 69,999 in India. However, it shipped the ship with a 55W charger instead of the 67W unit, which is scheduled to launch separately in India on July 12.
